MISSIONS FUND
Beacon of Hope helps support 4 missionaries, each unique, and each following God's call to minister in different places in the world. We receive an offering for them on the third Sunday of each month.
Check this website as we post when they come and speak regularly. We also welcome donations through this site or by mail. Please earmark "Missions."

COMMUNION
The first Sunday of each month we have "Communion" or, "The Lord's Supper" together. Following Jesus' directive to remember Him in this way, it reminds us that our sins and the sins of the world were forgiven and paid for by Jesus Christ on the cross. It also reminds us that God sees us as "the Body of Christ" - one unit, His people, His children - joined together by our faith in Him.

SERVING HANDS
Serving Hands of MV is not an organization run by the church, but an Island-run, non-profit that regularly provides delicious and nutritious food to local people in need. Once a month we encourage people to help bag-up and/or distribute food. This is an easy and helpful way for Christians to "let our light shine" (Matthew 5:14-16). 8:30 AM. First Baptist Church Parish Hall, Vineyard Haven
NEXT DATES ARE
October 24 & November 21

EATING!
On the last Sunday of every month, immediately following the Morning Service we share a Pot-luck Lunch. Please bring food and drink to share, but if you cannot, please stay anyway! There is always enough, and the fellowship is sweet!
Everyone is always welcome!
